Frozen 36 and 37

I found some time to scrap this weekend. Cayli came over and joined me; I really enjoy scrapping with her. She had a new Christmas kit, and it really made me want to shop. 63 more layouts to go, and I will shop - with pictures in hand.

My stash is continuing to decrease because nothing new is coming in. The Cricut is the hero of the day. It takes longer to complete layouts because I can't just open a package and place embellishments, but I am happy with the results I am getting and love that my scraps are getting used. I feel this frozen process is forcing me to be more creative. I see a look I like, and I have to figure out how to get that look with what I have in my scrap room.

I cut the rectangles with the Cricut and placed them where I wanted them. I even used eyelets on this one. This is a simple clean layout of Matt and his good friend.

The black foam letters are American Craft and the red ones are from the Target dollar spot (several years ago).

This is from a trip to the Great Salt Lake. I got creative on this one. The blue paper was hand painted by me several years ago, and I loved how it looked with these pictures. I used the Cricut, stamps, wire, and embossing powder on this layout.
The letters are some Frankensteined sticker letters and American Craft glittered chipboard letters. Yes, the A is an upside down Y with an * stuck on top of it.
I used stamps behind the picture block and then used glitter embossing powder to get the look of salt crystals. The dragonflies are stamped, colored, cut out, stacked with pop-dots, wire added, and placed on the layout.

Frozen 34 and 35

I've completed 35 layouts since my spending freeze and used 89 sheets of paper and assorted scraps.

Up first is Angie's family. Of course I'm so behind on my scrapping that she's added another baby to the mix since these pictures were taken. I made the flowers with my Cricut - Plantain Schoolhouse cartridge.

These are two of my grandkids - James's. I punched the circle embellishments out of patterned cardstock and added rhinestones. I also used up some old vellum scraps and ribbon on this one.

1/3 of the way there Frozen #33

This is my grandson, Isaac. I found "The Raven" paper at a yard sale. I didn't think I'd ever use it, but when one loves Poe, one must have "The Raven" paper. I used up some really old rub-ons; I was surprised they still worked.

Frozen 31 and 32

My Cricut is becoming a good friend while I work on my frozen challenge. I am getting to know my cartridges  a lot better.

These are my three grand daughters. The flowers are cut by my Cricut using George and basic shapes.

This is my son Matt, my grandson and a good friend. The nines are cut using Graphically Speaking by Cricut.

I am almost 1/3 of the way to my goal!

Frozen # 30

I have made it to 30 layouts without shopping for more supplies. I have used up 71 sheets of paper.

These are pictures of my daughter, Angie and her family, Tim, Isaac, and Callie.

I used my Cricut, a stamp, and embossing powder to make the embellishments. I even used some old fastenator staples.

Frozen 28 & 29

71 more layouts to go before I can go shopping for scrappy supplies.

This is my grandson, Xander. I inked the ribbon to make it match the photos.

This fun little one is my grandson, Jace. He is such a happy and playful baby.

Frozen # 26 and 27

I am really wanting to shop for scrap stuff, but I need to hang in there and use up what I already have.

These layouts feature pictures of my little grandson. They were taken last year at this time. I haven't even printed any of 2013 pictures yet, so I need to keep on scrapping and get more supplies and pictures into my albums.

Layouts 24 and 25

I am making a scratch in my scrap supplies - not a dent yet, but a scratch.

This is my little grandson, Jace. He is the sweetest little guy. I used up a lot of little doo-dads on this.

I was lucky enough to get two little grandsons in 2012. This layout is about Xander and uses up a few more doo-dads.

Frozen 21, 22, and 23

I've been making page kits with my supplies, and it's a new fun way to use up the old.

I used eyelets, ribbons, and some old MM fabric tags on this one. This is my daughter and my grand daughter.

My youngest son at Christmas time.

These are some of my favorite ladies and myself. I used some raw chipboard painted white.
