Love this Girl

Callie is my grand daughter with a big smile and personality to match.

Thanks to Karen for the project life cards that were used on this layout; some were cut out and used as embellishment.

The Adore heart is from a project life as are the little pink arrow strips.

Swim

Karen from 2Peas Refugees sent me some project life cards. I'm not a project life scrapper, but I love the colors of these cards, so you will see them on upcoming layouts. I used three cards - two behind the pictures, and one is fussy cut and used as part of the title.

Thank you, Karen for giving me some new product to play with.

This is my son, Matt, and two of his cousins.  I cut the sun shape and glued it to another sheet of patterned paper.

I broke out my stamps and embossing power for this layout. I covered the arrows, which were cut from patterned paper with sparkly embossing power. I am trying hard to stay out of the shops. I bought a bunch of paper at a yard sale for $6, so I am frozen again.

This is a cardstock glitter sticker that I covered with other things.
The hearts are a stamped image, embossed, and punched with a heart punch.
It is surprising how many items from different lines work on one layout.

Cutie

I love these pictures of my fun little grand daughter. She is a happy girl.

The green striped paper was given to me for Mother's Day by Brandon and Cayli.

I used up bits and bobs of things in my clusters.

The metal and enamel flower came from a shirt I was getting rid of. The paper flowers were cut from patterned paper. The large flower was an embelllishment.

I had one strip of this black in my scraps and used it for contrast.

Old letter stickers from the Target dollar spot.

The Drums

My son started dance last year and loves it. We loved watching him perform. This was his hip hop class. This year he has added ballet and ballroom - ballroom being his favorite. I'm excited to get his pictures this year.

I've been trying to use my stamps more. This saves me money on embellishments and helps me use up scraps. I used jewels that fell off the pockets of my shorts for this layout. The title is Thickers.
I used some old rubons and stamped the strips of paper with a stamp that came with the animals. I also used the same stamp set for 'wild thing' and embossed it.

You are Loved

This is my sweet little granddaughter, a picture of my daughter, and of me.

The strips with words are from some old patterned paper. The flowers are from a an old school paper pack. I cut them out. The dots are punched from glitter paper.

Make a Wish

Matt had his birthday party canceled this year because of his sister's health, but he was a good sport. We gave him two birthday parties in 2015 to make up for it.

I was able to use up scraps on this one. The only full piece used was the black cardstock. Not that I am trying to save paper, but I like to use up scraps to empty out my bins.

The red hearts are from a felt border. I cut them into individual pieces.

Callie at Christmas

This is my little granddaughter.

The snowman is a gift tag. I punched the snowflakes out of the top of a Christmas card that was sparkly.
The gold border and stars were from a Christmas card. The border vellum is punched using a Martha Steward punch.

The stash is moving slowly but surely off my scrap room shelves.

Hey, Listen!

If you are a Legend of Zelda fan like my son, Matthew, you will know what that title means. He has dressed up as Link for many Halloweens. This year he was Dark Link.  We made his costume. We found the sword and shield on Amazon.com. We also bought some pointed ears, but they would not stay on. The grey sweater and belts came from a thrift shop. the arm bands are soccer shin-guards that we painted black and he and his brother used a silver sharpie to add the details. He wore leggings under his tunic, and we found some boots at the thrift store that we painted black. I made the tunic and hat out of fleece.

I found a triforce online and used it to cut that background, which I inked and then covered most of it up.

The title is sanded letter stickers, and I used a tag that come from a backpack we bought for him. I found the ocarina online - printed it and cut it out.
 More embellishments from online.

The border punch is by Martha Stewart.
