Summer

Callie at our Fourth of July balloon bash. I used acrylic paint watered down for the background. I also cut hearts with the Cricut to add to the background.

The title is an old Provo Craft metal title. The flower border is a Martha Stewart punch.

I love this picture of her with her wonderful smile.

Great Grandma Rolean

My mom meeting my grand daughter, Olivia.

The paper came from a yard sale. The metal tags came from a swap, but I cut the hanging holes off of them. I used a Martha Steward punch for the flowes.
I bought the enamel dots and self adhesive brads from Amazon. The title is Cricut and foam letters.

First Moments

Cayli with Aria. This was such a great day.

I cut the diamonds from patterned paper.

Cayli and Brandon bought this paper and the flowers for me.

The First Moments tag and ribbon came from a baby outfit. I added the rhinestones.

The Sweet heart and Pretty Princess were cut with the Cricut.

Tiny Angel

This is my son with his newborn daughter. She is now two years old. I need to print recent pictures.

I added glitter to the title that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the flower border strip that is under the pictures and in the top right corner.
Yes, that is a plastic photo corner used as an arrow.
The butterflies are cut from patterned paper and heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.

Puppy Love

These are our little dogs before we got to bring them home.
I used old chipboard that I inked on this layout.
Hearts are cut with a Cricut, inked, and pop dotted. Little hearts are punched.

The perfect fit ribbon is from a clothing tag.

Olivia Flower Moore

No, her middle name isn't Flower, but that is what her big sister told me when she came to visit her new sister at the hospital. I thought it was the cutest thing ever.

I found this paper at a yard sale and liked the peach looking paper behind it, but it wasn't peach it was more orange, so I added velum on top and it made it the right color. I also added paint to the large flower to make it the right color. Look at your supplies in new ways to make them work for you. Add velum, ink, paint, or chalks to create a whole new look.

I bought a new pack of these white glitter letters at Hobby Lobby. I had run out of ways to Frankenstein them, so I had to get more.
I watered down my paint and brushed it on the flower to get it the right shade. I also used up so old Prima flowers on this layout, and yes, I moved that rhinestone back to center after I took the picture.

Dogs

Isaac, my oldest grandson, loves animals, but he is allergic to most fur bearing creatures. Sometimes he leaves my house with very red cheeks and swollen eyes if he lets the dogs lick him.

As always, a combination of collections

Beautiful Smile

Sweet Aria

I mix and match collections all the time. This paper and the smile chipboard came in a collection that I picked up at a yard sale. I love how it mimics her blanket. The butterfly, sunshine, and beautiful came from a paper pack that Aria's mom and dad gave me. The black strip of patterned paper on the bottom is from a branding strip.

I had a little zebra stripped ribbon that I added to this. I also liked the combination of rhinestones and enamel dots on this.

Open Close It

Jace loves anything with moving parts and loves to open and close our sliding glass door.

I chalked the light blue letters a bit darker.

The large enamel circle is an old earring. I have another just like it. :)

One photo shoot - two different looks

Two of my little grandchildren gave me pictures, and I made pages for each of their books. I wanted Kayana's page to be more feminine, and Vincent's page to be more boyish.

Here is my take on their pictures.

This one is for Kayana's book. I went with the colors of her skirt and their tops.

I added some fussy cut flowers from patterned paper and a few sticker brads.

For Vincent's page I pulled the colors from his riding toy and their tops. I added a little chalking to the white paper.

The title is old foam stickers from Target's dollar spot. I also had this little frame and added a button and a star. The brads are old ones from my stash. I like enamel dots a lot better, but I am determined to use what I have. I'd love to see your new take on old supplies.
