Dance Company performed a piece called Lavinia's Lullaby at Shakespeare this year. This piece was chosen to be performed at the awards ceremony, which is quite an honor. This is based on Titus Andronicus.
I used one sheet of 12x12 paper and everything else is bits and bob, tags from clothing, and I made the roses from ribbons. I learned how to make these from watching a Jen Schow video on You Tube.
All of these are tags from clothing. I added the ribbon roses and some chipboard.
The black tag is a large tag from clothing. I added the ribbon roses, some metal, chipboard, and a bit of cardstock with rubons for the date.
I found a couple of embellishments, added two clothing tags, a scrapbook tag, ribbon rose, and chipboard for this cluster.
I had two of these large black clothing tags. I added a few other embellishments for this cluster.
The title is silver rubons.
Here is the card I made using the left over ribbon. I had to use scraps from my scrap bin for this as I didn't have scraps from the layout. I added sequins, and sticker for the greeting, and chipboard.

Paradigm Dance Company - Matt
Matt is once again the only guy on Dance Company.
Their president from last year is their photographer, Kaitmikayla@gmail.com
She did a great job capturing their personalities.
The title is letter stickers but I didn't have enough of the same color, so I inked them all to match. There are also some rubons scattered throughout this layout.
I fussy cut the flowers and added some baker's twine to the centers.
I used 4 sheets of 12x12 paper for this layout.

Concealed Vulnerability - Matt and Becca
Matt and Becca choreographed a dance for the Shakespeare festival based on 12th night. They took third place in their division. They worked hard on this piece, and I am so proud of both of them.
I did a lot of fussy cutting for this layout. I cut the black design and butterflies from patterned paper. Otherwise, the layout is pretty simple.
I used 2 12x12 pieces of paper and scraps for this layout.
The title is cut using the Cricut

I'm still making a card after each layout before I clean off my table. Here's the card from the scraps of this layout.

You are my Sunshine - Aliese
My grand daughter is getting so grown up. She is taller than I am.
I started with a sketch for this one but deviated a bit. I used product from many different lines, but I think they all work together.
Most of the chipboard came from Caitie getting rid of some her stash. Yes, I even used some fastenator staples.
This is the card that I made before cleaning off my desk. I love these colors.

Simply Magical - Callie
My grand daughter, Callie, at her recent birthday. Aunt Paula made the magical Unicorn cake that was filled with candies and unicorn goodness. Callie is such a sweet little mamma to everyone. She takes care of and loves all those around her.
I used three full sheets of 12X12 paper on this and a few scraps.
I found the title letters at a couple of different yard sales. The unicorn charm was from a bracelet that I never wore. The gold hearts are from some paper scraps. I used the Martha Steward border punch that I used in the layout to make them.
Her name is foam stickers from a yard sale.
Once again, I used the scraps from the layout to create this card. I am determined to get my stash down this year - unless I find a really good yard sale.

Raspberry Picker - Aria
My grand daughter, Aria, loves to come over and pick raspberries. She holds the basket while we pick so she can pretend to be me, and then we bring them inside, and she eats them right up.
I heavily inked the edges of the white paper and backed it with the same paper I used to for the circles.
The title is made from sparkly letter stickers purchased from the target dollar spot several years ago. The rubon butterfly was just the perfect touch and color.
I think these flowers came from a yard sale. I removed the pop dots from them because they already had plenty of dimension. I also changed the buttons on some of them.
The butterfly was one I stamped for a different project. I added sparkle to it, and added punched flowers. I also used deco scissors to add the little scalloped edge.
Do you use your scraps to make cards before you clean up?

In keeping with my goal for this year, I created a card before I cleaned up the scraps. I left the spot for the greeting blank, so I can use it when needed.

Gymnast - Kayana
This is one of my grand daughters. I love that her gym has given her a can do attitude. She says, "I can try."
I enjoyed figuring out how to get all the pictures on here. I couldn't quite get the picture of the layout square, so some of my wood floor shows in the corners, but the layout is not wonky in real life.
The checkered tags are from clothing. I had three of them, so I used them up on this layout.
I love that she says this.
The shiny stars are from a greeting card. I hand cut them and used a punch for the smaller stars.
The title is foam letters.
I used three full sheets of 12X12 paper on this layout.
I decided that from now on before I clean off my desk after completing a layout, I will make a card with the scraps. This will keep my scraps down and fill my card organizer.
I used some older rubons for the greeting. I had a lace doily on my desk from another project and used some Prima flowers as well.

This is Halloween - James, Elaina, and kids
My son and his family really get into Halloween. They were perfect as Jack and Sally this year. These pictures required a two page layout. Their boys wanted to the own things this year.
I found clip art of the dog and bats on line, printed it, cut it out, and used embossing powder on it.
The pumpkins are a stamp I found at the Target dollar spot years ago. I stamped on scraps, cut them out, and pop dotted some of them. They have also been chalked. I had this metal bat in my collection and thought it worked well for these pictures.
The bats are clip art that has been cut out and embossed.
This metal spider has been in my collection for a long time. I have no idea who made it. The title is chipboard letters. I had to use an e from another collection because this one didn't have two.
I used 5 12X12 sheets of paper and quite a few scraps on this layout.
