Introducing Shadow and Rebel

For the first time in 34 years, we are the proud family of not one but two puppies. They are miniature schnauzers and so cute. These pictures in no way portray adequately the puppy cuteness they exhibit in real life.

This is rebel. He has a fohawk that runs up his face.

This is Shadow. He is a little darker than his brother and a bit less shy than Rebel is.
 Another shot of Shadow
Rebel, the little love, always wants to be near someone.
Another shot of Shadow. I love his  markings. His fur is very soft.
Shadow on the left, Rebel on the right. We are surrounded by puppy cuteness. They are doing pretty well with crate training. They whine when they need to go out as long as they are in the crate. If they are not in the crate they go where ever, so for the time being when they are inside, they are in the crate. Yes, we have two crates, but today they needed each other as they were adjusting to the new digs. When they are outside, someone is always with them so they don't get carried off by a hawk or eat something they shouldn't. I am in love with these little guys.

Disney, Baby, and Toddler

I have three layouts to share today. This first one is done in an old size because the rest of these Disney pictures were in this size. The Disney product is from scrapbook.com.
I still had our leftover fast passes from 2001.

 This is Angie and Isaac.

Aliese with Grandpa Crosby. The flowers are cut from Twitterpated, Heart Attack by We R Memory Keepers and sanded. All the stamping was done with Stampin' Up Whte craft ink. Everything on here is scraps except for the flowers and the background paper.

Throwback Thursday

I have some old layouts to share today. Each has either a handmade embellishment or one created from found objects.

This is my paternal grandfather. I think he is so handsome.
I still love the tag I made for this layout. It shows all the relationships that were along with the sign from his car lot.
This layout is about my beloved paternal grandmother. I admire her in so many ways.
I made the mini comp book and hand stitched the details on it.
After her death, my aunt Patty came across an account Grandma had written when she retired that also detailed her first year of teaching in a one room schoolhouse.
This is me. I wish I was still this young.
The flowers are hand made and the tag is from an article of clothing with the logo sanded off.

Caitie's Junior Prom

This is Caite with her high school sweetheart and future husband, Nathan.

I used all old product on this with the exception of the little bits of Riverton paper I had left over from her graduation pictures.

And this - first picture is of the front, second picture is of the back. I'm not sure what it is, but I rescued it from my get rid of pile and made into. . .

This awesome embellishment.

Crooked Smile and Nineteen

My first layout is a combination of old and new product. The second layout is all old product - all patterned paper except for the letter stickers.

First up is Drew and Matthew with the same crooked smile.

These pictures are from Caitie's nineteenth birthday. I only used paper on this one.

Angie's baby shower and Isaac's birth

I have one for the old/new challenge and one with just new.

This was such a fun day with everyone there. I love the two large pictures on the first page.

I found a bag of buttons at the DI for $1. They are small and perfect for scrap pages, and I had fun sorting them. For some reason buttons make me happy.
