Island Boy - Xander, Catherine, James Bellows Oahu

I found this paper at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to scrap. I need to get pictures developed, but since getting an iphone, I'm a bit overwhelmed with pictures. I need to figure out my system and get back on top of getting pictures printed.

All Xander knows is living in Hawaii. When they moved to the states this year, he had a hard time with the cold weather.

Sunset North Shore Oahu Hawaii

I really need to get back into my scrap room. I completed this layout months ago but have only done one other layout since.

The pictures in this one were taken on the north shore of Oahu.

The centers of flowers are little bits of shells that were on this beach. I fussy cut the flowers out of patterned paper.

Little shells and a bit of sea glass.

North Shore - Matthew

This layout is for our Hawaii album.
Once again, I fussy cut flowers from a sheet of patterned paper. I used a Martha Stewart border punch. The beige title stickers were inked with darker ink so that they would stand out.
I tucked a bit of ribbon with words on it in the flowers.
I splattered some watered down paint on the background paper.

Teetoes - Xander

Xander loves sea turtles and when he started talking, he called them Teetoes. The title is foam stickers from the Walmart scrapbook area.

These puff stickers are perfect for a child's page.
I added a touch of border punch on this one.

You and Me by the Sea

We were lucky enough to see turtles on the beach and swimming near the beach. This page is for Aliese.

I added a few starfish and shell rubons to the background paper. I added a bit of white paint to the left lower edge because it had the word draw on the paper and I wanted that covered. This design is a bit different than what I normally do, but I like how it turned out.
 The title is rubons.
I fussy cut the glittered flowers and added rhinestones. The flip flops are cut from an old Dollar Tree sticker.

Happy Birthday, Brandon

I don't scrap a lot of pictures of Brandon anymore as his wife, Cayli, takes care of that for me. These pictures may be proof that he is a vampire as he doesn't age.

The title and all the stars are from a birthday card that I cut up. I also used an old slide frame on this.
Enamel dots and brads for the completion.

Zion - Matthew

Matt has changed so much in the last six years. These pictures are from a fun day at Zion National Park.

The word strips are cut from patterned paper as is the title. I had to add glitter glue to the Z as it didn't come with glitter like the other letters did.
 Blurry - sorry about that.
 Teeny tiny banners.
The arrows came from the negative of a punch I have. I stacked three of them and glued them together.

Sun-Kissed: Xander

These are picture of me and my little grandson, Xander.

I love when I can use fussy cut patterned paper for embellishments. Oahu is an old sticker.
 More patterned paper embellishements.
The tropical escape tag is from an article of clothing. I worked great on this page, and there is a little metal charm sand bucket here, too. Sun-kissed is an old Dollar Tree find.

North Shore - Sean

I made this page for my cute grandson, Sean. He is such a sweet boy. These pictures are from our 2013 trip to visit my son and his family when they lived in Oahu.

I cut patterned paper for the embellishments.
I added a piece of vellum with a border punched side using a Martha Stewart punch.
I had two sheets of this paper, so I cut all the flowers off of one and pop-dotted it on top of the flowers on this page.

Summer

Callie at our Fourth of July balloon bash. I used acrylic paint watered down for the background. I also cut hearts with the Cricut to add to the background.

The title is an old Provo Craft metal title. The flower border is a Martha Stewart punch.

I love this picture of her with her wonderful smile.

Great Grandma Rolean

My mom meeting my grand daughter, Olivia.

The paper came from a yard sale. The metal tags came from a swap, but I cut the hanging holes off of them. I used a Martha Steward punch for the flowes.
I bought the enamel dots and self adhesive brads from Amazon. The title is Cricut and foam letters.

First Moments

Cayli with Aria. This was such a great day.

I cut the diamonds from patterned paper.

Cayli and Brandon bought this paper and the flowers for me.

The First Moments tag and ribbon came from a baby outfit. I added the rhinestones.

The Sweet heart and Pretty Princess were cut with the Cricut.

Tiny Angel

This is my son with his newborn daughter. She is now two years old. I need to print recent pictures.

I added glitter to the title that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the flower border strip that is under the pictures and in the top right corner.
Yes, that is a plastic photo corner used as an arrow.
The butterflies are cut from patterned paper and heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.

Puppy Love

These are our little dogs before we got to bring them home.
I used old chipboard that I inked on this layout.
Hearts are cut with a Cricut, inked, and pop dotted. Little hearts are punched.

The perfect fit ribbon is from a clothing tag.
