You are my Sunshine - Aliese

My grand daughter is getting so grown up. She is taller than I am.

I started with a sketch for this one but deviated a bit. I used product from many different lines, but I think they all work together.

Most of the chipboard came from Caitie getting rid of some her stash. Yes, I even used some fastenator staples.

This is the card that I made before cleaning off my desk. I love these colors.

Simply Magical - Callie

My grand daughter, Callie, at her recent birthday. Aunt Paula made the magical Unicorn cake that was filled with candies and unicorn goodness. Callie is such a sweet little mamma to everyone. She takes care of and loves all those around her.

I used three full sheets of 12X12 paper on this and a few scraps.

I found the title letters at a couple of different yard sales. The unicorn charm was from a bracelet that I never wore. The gold hearts are from some paper scraps. I used the Martha Steward border punch that I used in the layout to make them.

Her name is foam stickers from a yard sale.

Once again, I used the scraps from the layout to create this card. I am determined to get my stash down this year - unless I find a really good yard sale.

Raspberry Picker - Aria

My grand daughter, Aria, loves to come over and pick raspberries. She holds the basket while we pick so she can pretend to be me, and then we bring them inside, and she eats them right up.

I heavily inked the edges of the white paper and backed it with the same paper I used to for the circles.

The title is made from sparkly letter stickers purchased from the target dollar spot several years ago. The rubon butterfly was just the perfect touch and color.

I think these flowers came from a yard sale. I removed the pop dots from them because they already had plenty of dimension. I also changed the buttons on some of them.

I used 3 12X12 sheets of paper on this layout.

In keeping with my goal for this year, I created a card before I cleaned up the scraps. I left the spot for the greeting blank, so I can use it when needed.

The butterfly was one I stamped for a different project. I added sparkle to it, and added punched flowers. I also used deco scissors to add the little scalloped edge.

Do you use your scraps to make cards before you clean up?

Gymnast - Kayana

This is one of my grand daughters. I love that her gym has given her a can do attitude. She says, "I can try."

I enjoyed figuring out how to get all the pictures on here. I couldn't quite get the picture of the layout square, so some of my wood floor shows in the corners, but the layout is not wonky in real life.

The checkered tags are from clothing. I had three of them, so I used them up on this layout.

I love that she says this.

The shiny stars are from a greeting card. I hand cut them and used a punch for the smaller stars.

The title is foam letters.

I used three full sheets of 12X12  paper on this layout.

I decided that from now on before I clean off my desk after completing a layout, I will make a card with the scraps. This will keep my scraps down and fill my card organizer.

I used some older rubons for the greeting. I had a lace doily on my desk from another project and used some Prima flowers as well.
