Angie and Tim had their new (as yet unnamed) baby boy at 2:36 p.m. today. Angie joked that it was at shift change for her coworker. He didn't have any trouble getting here, which was a blessing. He cried well and ate well. He weighs in at 6 pounds and 11 ounces and is 18 inches long. He resembles his big brother and sister, but he looks like himself. He also has dark hair.
Of course I got a lot of pictures as any good grandma does.
He is still pretty raw in this one. He cried whenever the nurse took her hands off him. He is a snuggle baby.
He had a little bit to eat and was quite content.
He woke up and visited with Grandma.
He has a nice head of hair - this was after it was washed.
He likes his hair washed. No, I promise, he is not flipping anyone off - that is is ring finger.
He may like having his hair washed, but he isn't too sure about the rest.

Swimming Layouts and a Back to School Layout
I've had a chance to scrap this week. I completed some layouts with pictures that were taken in 2010.
James and my grand daughter, Aliese.
My little Callie-bug. She is such a sweetie.
This is my grand daughter Kayana. She is such a happy little one.

Grandma Mary
My sweet Aunt Patty sent me these pictures of Grandma Mary with her school children today. I think I will make copies and post them in my classroom. I love and miss Grandma so much! She taught in a one room school house.

Imagine having eight preps and twenty eight students in one class. Many of the kids are as big as Grandma. I am glad I only have one prep.

I finished five layouts this weekend!
This has been a creative and productive weekend for me. I finished three layouts yesterday while Cayli was here, and then today, I kept on going and finished two more. I love scrapping!
First up is Isaac's Kindergarten picture. He loves school and is doing well in school. The "abc 123" border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Aliese and Sean are shown in their first family pictures. Aliese is so excited to be in family. She is a good big sister.
James and his beautiful family are shown in these pictures. Our entire family is thankful for Elaina and Sean and for the love they have brought into James's life.
Matt and Aliese are shown in pictures from Brandon's and Cayli's wedding day. There is hidden journaling behind the picture letting Aliese know that while we don't get to see her often, we always love her. This layout features felt flowers that I found at a yard sale and a Martha Stewart border punch.
Matt's favorite thing to do at the Kearn's Recreation center is to jump off the diving boards. He wasn't really old enough to jump, but he is strong swimmer and tall for his age, so we let him jump. He loves the water and has been swimming since he was three.

Layouts - old pictures and some newer ones
This picture is my grandparents. I think they look so in love.
This picture has my mom and step dad right after they got married. They were very happy. I am the little girl in the bright blue coat standing in the middle of everyone.

These "newer pictures" are from 2006. This is my daughter Caitie.

This last layout has pictures of me, my grandson Isaac, and my son Matthew. They are from 2007. I really need to pick up the pace and get some current pictures developed and scrapped.

Grandma Christmas Party
Each year I have a Christmas Party for my grandchildren. This year, Caitie's father-in-law, Kent, came as our special visitor. We had our party right before Thanksgiving so that James, Elaina, Aliese, and Sean could be here. I need to get some pictures from my girls because tonight, I wasn't the one behind the camera.
We made homemade soft pretzels, pretzel kiss candies, and let the kids play and have a good time.
Santa took the time before he got here, to know who all the kids were and what they liked. Thank you Santa for coming to our party.

Callie wanted nothing to do with Santa. To her, he is just a big, strange, scary man in a red suit. She was scared of him last year as well. Maybe next year, she will want to sit on his lap.

More Layouts 12/15/11
I only have four to show you today. Last Saturday, I only completed one layout. I am seriously the worlds slowest scrapper.
This is my little grand daughter, Kayana.
These pictures were taken as Kayana was rushed out of the delivery room, so that her nurses could work on her breathing. She had a little trouble getting going after an emergency C section.
These pictures were taken in July 2010. She is such a happy little thing. Callie girl is also pictured here. They are such good buddies.
Kayana fresh from the tub.
