Friday's Five

These pictures were taken at Sea World in Florida. The pearl divers were so fun to watch. I swear they could hold their breath forever.

This next layout is of little Callie's first hospital bath. The border punch is by Martha Stewart. The fonts are Cricut fonts.

This is my son, Brandon, holding Callie

In these pictures my son, James, who is in the USAF, is saying goodbye to his little girl. The tag at the bottom of the layout is from a shirt I bought while we were in Hawaii where he was stationed.

I love the paper on this layout showing pictures from Universal Studios in Florida. The title is a couple of Cricut fonts.

So much for posting everyday - five more

I just can't seem to get on here every day, but here are five more layouts. All of these layouts star my sweet little Callie girl (grand daughter).

This one also has her favorite little cousin, my other grand daughter, Kayana.

Layouts Again

Here is the next group of five:

This is my grandson, Sean.
The title, flames, wrench, and bolts are from a cricut cartridge. I can't remember which one though. I love these pictures. This is also Sean.

Sean's first time in the snow.

This is my brother with his beautiful family.

This is (I think) the last of the layouts for my oldest daughter's wedding.

More Scrap Pages

I haven't posted pages for a long, long time. I'll try to post five a day until I get them all posted. I usually make about two pages each Saturday - only because I am the world's slowest scrapper.

This page is of one of my dearest friends and her girls. My two oldest children and my oldest granddaughter are also pictured.

This is an photo of Matthew from 2005. I cut out the circle using a bowl and a dinner plate as a template. I also used a hole puncher to make the little circles that are inked and glued on the big circle. The frog and dragon fly are from Cricut's Create a Critter cartridge that Cayli lets me use during our Scrap Saturdays.

This is my brother and his sweet wife. The border punches are by Martha Stewart.

These are pictures from my brother's wedding. My little niece and nephew crashed out. The little pictures on the bottom aren't very good quality. I didn't have a good camera back in 1998.

This is my new daughter in law and her beautiful son (my new grandson who is now nearly four years old) Elaina sent me a packet of pictures of Sean. Now I can make him a scrapbook too! The font is Cricut's Caligraphy cartridge.

Sweet Kayana

Tonight while I was watching Kayana, we heard a siren outside. I didn't think anything of it, but Kayana got really upset. She looked at me with worry in her eyes and said, "Mommy okay?" She touched her left arm and said, "Mommy arm hurt. Bad guy come."

She was so scared. I didn't realize that not only does she remember when they were involved in the car accident the day before James and Elaina's wedding, but it still scares her. " Do you want to call Mommy?" I asked.

"Ya, Mommy okay?"

"Mommy's okay, but let's call her, so you can talk to her."

"I worry," she said.

We called Caitie, and after she got off the phone, Kayana said with a smile, "Mommy okay. Daddy okay too."

I am sad that a careless, speeding driver (one on a cell phone) has caused my little sweetheart to worry and be afraid every time she hears a siren.

The pictures were taken in August 2011.

James's Visit

James came home after Christmas. He didn't tell Aliese he was coming. He dressed up as Santa Claus and came in with a big bag of toys for all the kids. He handed out the toys, and of course the kids were excited to open them. We asked Aliese, "Don't you want to sit on Santa's lap?"

"Why?" she responded.

"To tell him thank you for the gifts."

She climbed up on his lap, and while she was looking at the rest of us, he took off the beard and the wig. Aliese was so happy, she cried.

Earlier in the month, we had our Christmas Party. I am without photo editing software at the moment, so I can only post the pictures that are right side up.

Jeez, I need to take more horizontal shots. I think I best be getting some photo editing software, so I can show you the cute pictures of the babies in beads, Callie hiding from Santa, Caitie and Angie on Santa's lap, and Cayli kissing Santa. I have a few cute pictures of Isaac as well. He moves fast and is often a blur in his pictures.
