Frozen 83

I could have a problem staying in the freezer tomorrow as it is our community yard sale, and yard sales are a week spot for me. I can't walk away from something I love when it hardly costs anything. But, I have done well. I've done many, many recipe cards and greeting cards that I haven't counted in my 100 layout challenge. I've also create a few two page layouts that I've only counted as one layout, so if I unthaw tomorrow, I've made a good, honest effort at using my stash. I haven't bought anything but adhesive and blades since I entered the freezer back in November ( 6 months without shopping).

Here is layout 83:

This is my grandson, Xander who gets to live in Hawaii, which is way too far from me, but he gets to live in Hawaii!!! with my other grandson, Sean and their parents.

The orange banner was cut from patterned paper that was a mother's day gift.
I painted the limes - they were both lemons, but I turned them into limes. The title is Opposites Attract by Cricut.
The vellum arrows and banners by the pictures were a mother's day gift from my sweet kids. It was fun using something new without having to break my freeze to do it.

  2. Hi Catherine,

Your layouts are all wonderful. I spotted so oldy but good goodies. So proud of you. You have encouraged me, so I am making the plunge to do 100 layouts, cards etc before buying anything new. I have done 2 layouts and 2 cards to far. Here is my blog. http://midwesternyankee.blogspot.com/

    Great job,

  3. Great layouts, really love the way you layer your embellishments and how you're not afraid to use color! Fab job on your challenge, and it seems like it won't be much longer until you've reached your goal! :)
